My Ittle Liver Sausage

Authors Note : My little sister means everything to me. Written by nobody but me.

The day when my little sister  Olivia was born I was ecstatic. When I held her in my arms , I started to cry. She was just so cute and I never wanted to let her go.  She was mine, all mine. I actually started to get almost jealous when someone would take her from me. When my other sister Grace was born when i was 7 and i never felt this way somehow. I thought maybe it was because, i was older and appreciated her more. When we brought her home, she seemed to just fit in.  Me and Grace would get into fights about who would hold her next.

Higher Than the Heel

Higher Than the Sky!
Todd is my name. My home is Target. Very stinky men, shove their very disgusting toes into me. I don't understand why this is so funny.  But i guess my sense of humor is not the same. But the thing is , it is better than the one time this woman took me home and then brought me back.  I was heel broken. Like really my whole entire heel was off. So i was shoved  into this very dark box for “hours”. All of the sudden , the top of this chamber flew off and i fell  out of this moving machine that is held high in the air.  AH, i screamed.  Then i fell to my death.

Sybolism

It rained. This is a sentence that has to do with symbolism because "it rained" represents the seven years it was cloudy and disgusting with water dripping from the roofs of houses.

Sometimes, at night, she heard them stir, in remembrance, and she knew they were dreaming and remembering gold or a yellow crayon or a coin large enough to buy the world with. The crayon and the coin represent the sun. Margot was waiting for the sun because she remembered it. All the other kids wouldn't have remembered when they saw the sun.

It was a nest of octopi, clustering up great arms of flesh like weed, wavering, flowering in this brief spring. This represents the jungle that covers the entire surface of Venus.

The children lay out, laughing, on the jungle mattress, and heard it sigh and squeak under them resilient and alive. This is a symbol of happiness. After seven years, the sun finally shows, so the children are happy.

A few cold drops fell on their noses and their cheeks and their mouths. The sun faded behind a stir of mist. A wind blew cold around them. They turned and started to walk back toward the underground house, their hands at their sides, their smiles vanishing away. This is a symbol of sadness. After being happy, the sun vanishes again for seven more years.

She began to cry. This is a symbol of sadness because the sun drifted away for another seven years.

"You're lying, you don't remember!" cried the children. This is a symbol of anger because they don't believe Margot even though she is telling the truth.

"Get away!" The boy gave her another push. This is a symbol of anger. Margot was being pushed by

Transform

Authors Note:  Ever wonder if the world was going to end? Who would be the last person standing? Will that person die ever? Will there be robots?  Those are the thoughts that popped into my head when I was writing this essay .

What would happen if the world ended? How many people would survive? Will there ever be robots that would try to help a person in need?  Alan Bloch must ask himself these questions and more while writing the short story “Humans are Different.” The movie Transformers is like the short story “Humans are Different”
In the movie Transformers, there are many people. But as the story continues half of the transformers team became their enemy’s.   But in “Humans are Different” there is only 1 robot and 1 human. This may make their living conditions harder. With no one to work, make food, and lead a steady job.

“Humans are Different” the robot happens to accidentally  kill the last human alive. The robot was trying to help. But it went the wrong way. That’s why some people , need to use common sense in their creations, even science prodgects. To create the human like brain.
Transformers have that higher percentage brain. They can speak full sentences with complete grammar.  They also can move from sight to sight by themselves. Even though they a lot self esteem problems, and they aren’t real.  They also have special power that have the power to destroy anyone or anything in their path.
So, if you think that you could create a robot. Create it with a brain, common sense and all of the same things as a human. But “ Humans are Different” and Transformers have many thing in common , after all.

Is it david or it?

Authors note: You think your life is bad? Try being David Pelzer for a day. He is another child suffering from child abuse. His mother Catherine Roeva is an alcoholic that is completely abusive to David.  She has a couple other children, but she doesn't hurt them. She is struggling with her marriage and is blaming it all on David.

“Life is a struggle, wondering if I’d get fed today, sometimes dad sneaks past Mother and comes to gives me bread. She started with the mirror treatment today.” The mirror treatment is when she smashes his face into a mirror and smears his face all over the broken glass. “I decided that if I cry that would give her pleasure. I don't want her to be happy...” this reminds me of the time I got in a fight with my friends and I didn’t want them to be happy. David had many struggles in life,  but it helped him be a better person.

“Today is the day; I am going to steal from the grocery. My stomach is calling out to me. I'm starving, I am afraid mother will catch me. But i want the food so badly.” After he steals a couple times he gets caught. She makes him throw up the food and eat the throw up.  Eww that reminds me of the time I flu and I was throwing up.

“Today we went to the store. I usually sit in the car but mother let me come in today. She told me to keep my hand clamped to the cart. I didn't, I started to run away. Mother caught me and had a new plan- the gas chamber”.  The gas chamber is when she locks him in the bathroom and puts a mixture of ammonia and bleach in the middle. After a few minutes David passes out. But his mom opened the door. He could have been killed. If this were to happen to me I would run right out of the house and scream the whole way. This also reminds me of Ann franks story with the Holocaust.

Many more strange punishments go on . But soon after he is sent to child services. His mother gets thrown into jail and his father seems to disappear. He survives the wrath of his own mother. I don’t think that is fair to try to make your kids life horrible. He soon after would goin the army , and visit the mother. He is emotionally startled .But he is extremely storng and holds his head high up in the sky.

Magic of the Pants

Authors note : The book Sister hood of the traveling pants is a author  that sure does know things about a commitment. 4 girls are on a journey to growing up. It can be hard but they will never grow apart. They find out that they are not going to be together as a group. All are going different ways.

Some people believe that if you start out as a shy girl you stay a shy girl. For Carmen this doesn't happen, she starts out a shy girl and doesn't go back. Tibby  is a totally hippie. Lena is the "soccer girl" . Bridget is one who doesn't believe in a real relationship.

But what will happen when they all get split up for the summer? Ann Brascerahs  was probably asking herself all of these thing while writing this novel. Will they stay friends? Keep the secret pants "CODE" ? Will they all come back the same as always or with different personality?

This book is a great book for teen and older! It has soom parts that parents may not approve of. But it also gives a life lessons . Like, Don't drink and drive. Its not ok to fall in love if it will kill your friendship with a friend.

But remember , your feelings may change. Your friends may change . Your boyfriend my change .But never forget where your roots are, the pants will always be magical.
